Rob brings more than 22 years of experience as a lawyer, business leader and executive in regulatory, operational compliance, planning, risk, cybersecurity, and ISO/RTO governance.  Within the energy industry he has extensive cross-functional expertise having worked many years as a regulatory attorney, focusing on law, policy, ratemaking and compliance requirements affecting distribution, generation and transmission entities as well as regional transmission organizations. Rob’s practice focuses on executive strategy, energy policy, regulatory and legal advisory, governance and compliance, and process and controls maturity for reliability solutions.

 

Prior to assuming his role with CNK Solutions, Rob spent three years at ReliabilityFirst, Corp., as part of its executive team, where, acting as General Counsel, he provided strategic and operational oversight of its compliance and enforcement programs. Later, Rob assumed responsibility for the organization’s entity outreach functions, overseeing efforts to identify continuous improvement reliability and security solutions for entities within the ReliabilityFirst Region and lead its corporate compliance and regulatory relations efforts.  Rob joined ReliabilityFirst after 10 years at PJM Interconnection, LLC, where he partnered across the organization, as Senior Counsel, to provide legal and regulatory advice, later serving as its Chief Compliance Officer, where continued to mature the organization’s overall compliance and risk posture and programs.  Prior to PJM, Rob served in a variety of legal and policy roles at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, including practicing as a rates prosecutor with the Commission’s Office of Trial Staff.
